Questions about Prayer Ministry Development

What challenges have you faced in the effort to develop the ministry of prayer in the local church?  Are there questions with which you have wrestled?

I don't have all of the answers, but would you consider posting your question as a "Comment" in response to this post?  (I reserve the right to edit questions and responses.)


Your question will be beneficial in two ways:

1. Hopefully it will benefit you and others as solutions are proposed in response.
2. It will benefit me tremendously as I am attempting to identify the most pressing issues of the church in this area of prayer ministry development.

In a sense, this might be considered a research project--one that is especially needed right now, in view of the fact that I am trying to write a book dealing with developing congregational prayer ministries.
