The Next Phase

I was reading Follow Me to Freedom last summer, it is an incredible book that can shift your mindset. In the book, John Perkins states that, to make a difference in a community, you must stay there for at least ten years. At first this sounded a little crazy, but then it began to make sense.

In a world of constant change, the places where we have stayed the longest have brought the most change to us and the community abroad. My prayer for this coming season is to find a place where Suzanne and I can be long term, set our roots in and be a part of a community. In short, we need to find a place that fits us. We are ready and anxiously waiting on what dream God will fulfill.

It is an exciting place to be in our hearts and ears are wide open to where Jesus will lead.
