In preparation for our multi-truck convoy to Asheville, North Carolina, this Friday leaving from Grace Baptist Church in Kentucky, we went first to our friends over in Johnson City, Tennessee, to pick up a trailer load of Reina-Valera Gomez Bibles and Spanish scripture portions. NTEB’er Charlton Head, you know him in the chat room as Charlie On The Hwy, stopped at Appalachian Bible and Tract Center to meet with Lacy Wheeler. These 500 RVG Bibles and cases of John/Romans scripture portions in Spanish will join 500 King James Bibles in Kentucky, and loaded onto trailers with the water, food, clothing and diapers for Asheville.

Charlton is a professional truck driver who wanted very much to contribute to the work the Lord has us doing in Asheville, and isn’t that just like the Lord to put him in the game just when we had a great need for a driver to get those Bibles from Tennessee? This Friday, 5 truckloads of desperately needed supplies will leave Grace Baptist Church in Kentucky under the watchful eye of Pastor Andrew Tucker, destined for Pastor Sluder at Bible Baptist Church in Asheville. They are using the church there as a distribution center open to all residents of Asheville, and an average of 200 cars per day are driving in to get what they need. This is what your donations are purchasing – trucks filled with water, food, clothing, diapers, personal hygiene supplies, and most of all, 1,000 Bibles and scripture portions.

When people ask for Bibles, we send them out at no charge. When people write in and say how much they would like gospel tracts but cannot afford them, we send them a box at no cost to them for either the tracts or the shipping, no matter where they are in the world. We have a Gospel Billboard program. We are now broadcasting Bible studies, Podcasts and a Sunday Service 5 times a week, thanks to your generous donations.
