Church of God minutes S60. Affiliation with the Church of God
outlines the relationship of Non-Church of God churches to the denomination. They are associate churches and shall retain ownership of their properties. They shall make monthly reports to state, regional and general headquarters with the same financial accountability as International General Assembly congregations.
An associate church can remove its status by placing its properties on a warranty deed with the approval of the administrative bishop and the state or regional council.
As I was searching the website of Central Church, pastored by Loran Livingston in North Carolina I saw that it is an affiliate of the Church of God.
How many affiliate churches do we have in the USA? Mount Paran in Atlanta is an affiliate church. Do you know of any?

This is a surprise indeed. This must mean then that the Overseer cannot remove the local pastor and put in one of his friends.
I believe Loran’s church was comprised of at least two previous CoG that were combined for him, including one of them being Joseph Chamber’s old Paw Creek CoG. So how did Loran get two CoG that belonged to the denomination and form his Central CoG?
Same for National COG with T L Lowery
Also a GO can appoint himself to a church of his choosing but not an affiliate
