I thought the event at Lee University to generate solidarity…

I thought the event at Lee University to generate solidarity with the event at Charlottesville, Va. and thus make the ‘students of color” feel at ease was a bad idea, a really bad idea! The staff leadership for this event are partisan campus leaders who have an agenda at the University.

The agenda is to divide the Trump support into loyalist and haters on campus.

Hopefully I have done my part to oppose the event and perhaps completely stop it or drive it into obscurity. It will perhaps go on as do most events of the Church of God.

    Tonight on the campus of Lee University the Administration, Faculty and student body came together for a time of praying, worshipping, listening and reflecting. Dr Conn opened the event and it was closed by members of the administration praying and with a song from EVS. I am proud of the Lee community.
    For the record there was no mention of politics or the president. I think it is time for those in the denomination (and those who used to be a part of the COG) to stop criticizing everything that takes place on campus.
