My dear Ruby,
Earlier this morning as I was pouring my coffee I saw a strong beam of light shining through the glass doors in our den. Don’t laugh, I thought: “Is that one of those UFOs I’m always hearing about?”
I had to go look.
I’m glad I did.
A full moon was looking down on me, smiling through the trees as it made it’s descent towards the other side of the planet. That moment of beauty and serenity is priceless. It will bring joy to me for the rest of the day.

Sweet Ruby, live a life of awareness. God has moments planned for you. There are things for you to see, to be a part of, to witness and give testimony to before you die.
The daily chores and responsibilities of life can be numbing and make you dull. Resist!
Live a life of awareness. God is always up to something where you live, don’t miss it.

Prayer: Father God, thank you for the special gift you gave me this morning and thank you for the special gift of Ruby C. and the many special moments of joy that she has brought into my life. I pray that there will be many more. Help us both to live a life of awareness, to not become so focused on what we have to do that we miss what you have done.
