One Step at a Time

“Between you and the woman,
And between your seed and her Seed;
He shall bruise your head,
And you shall bruise His heel.”

Genesis 3:15

Think about it, God revealed to Adam that the savior of mankind would come from the seed of the woman, but that is all he knew.

It wasn’t until Abraham came along that we learn the nationality of the savior.

It wasn’t until Jacob came along that we discovered that the savior would be from the tribe of Judah.

And it wasn’t for centuries later that God revealed to King David that the savior was going to be a male.

And then, wonder of wonders, several hundred years later we discovered from Isaiah that the savior’s mother would be a virgin.

And finally, thousands of years later we finally learned the Savior’s name and the name of His mother.

The ONE THING for today: If God took thousands of years to fully reveal His plan of salvation for the world, what makes you think He owes you all the facts about your life this very day?

You know enough to take the next step. Dare to do it and the next step will reveal itself.
