**THE TWO MAIN REASONS JESUS SAYS THAT SO MANY WILL TURN AWAY FROM HIM – AND SO BE LOST INSTEAD OF SAVED – DURING THIS LAST GENERATION**

**Jesus promised that He would return during the same generation that saw the rebirth of the Jewish nation of Israel (which happened on May 14, 1948!) – but warned us that many will turn away from Him and be lost before He returns – and that we must not turn away from Him – but instead stay true to Him to the end – to be saved. To help us not be among the many who turn away – what does Jesus tell us will happen – and what we must do about it to be saved? I am glad that you asked!**

**DECEPTION – THE FIRST REASON THAT JESUS SAYS SO MANY WILL BE LOST:“The first thing Jesus said to the last generation is, ‘DO NOT BE DECEIVED. For many will come in My name – pretending to speak for Me – many of them will be your favorite pastors, priests, Bible study teachers, singers, and other church leaders. Do not be surprised by this – because just as Satan disguises himself as an angel of light – his many false teachers will disguise themselves as your Christian leaders. They will share false teaching lies – such as “Easy Salvation” (just have a little faith – and perhaps say a one time prayer – and you are saved) – “Universal Salvation” (that I will save everyone) – “God Is Love Only” (that there would be something wrong with Me if I also have justice, wrath, and eternal punishment) – and “Pre-Trib Rapture” (that I love you too much to let you suffer through the great worldwide persecution before I return – and that there would be something wrong with Me otherwise). Remember this – that My sheep – who are the only ones that I save – believe everything that I say – and do not agree with anyone – including their church leaders who share these false teachers – who disagrees with anything that I say – including when I share with you the truth from My teachings – including that if you do not repent of (give up, forsake, stop intentionally doing) all your sins – and believe and do everything that I say to do – that you must do My will instead of your will – that you must believe and obey My teaching – instead of any false teaching – that you will not be saved – but will instead receive eternal punishment in the lake of fire. So make sure that you compare everything that anyone else says – with what I directly say in My Word – directly from My own mouth – in My four Gospels of Matthew, Luke, John and Mark – to make sure it is true.’” Matthew 24:32,34,15,9-10,13,30-31,4-5,25:31-34,41,46,7:21-23;2 Corinthians 11:14-15;John 10:27,5,17:8,8:31-32;Luke 13:3;6:46,14:26,9:23;Hebrews 5:9.**

**INTIMIDATION – THE SECOND REASON THAT JESUS SAYS THAT SO MANY WILL BE LOST:”Jesus said, ‘Before I return in the clouds for you, the AntiChrist will institute a 7 year covenant with many and, at the 3.5 mark of the 7 years, he will enter the rebuilt Jewish Temple and falsely declare himself to be God. Then he will order the worldwide persecution, torture and death of My followers and – under that pressure – MANY will turn away from Me – but ONLY THOSE WHO STAY TRUE TO ME TO THE END – EVEN THROUGH TORTURE AND DEATH – WILL BE SAVED.’” Matthew 24:15,9-10,13,30-31;Daniel 9:27;2 Thessalonians 2:4.**
