What was so dark when Jesus hung on the cross, even before sun got darkened? Answer: our SINS. Luke 23:44-46. Isaiah 53:4-6 All the sins and iniquities of the world were laid on Jesus. That’s why Heavenly Father turned His face away from His own Son. But what a joy we now have in Jesus knowing that there is nothing in our life that He cannot fix. We haven’t faced anything that Jesus hasn’t faced. Even John the Baptist testified about Jesus saying ” Behold the Lamb of God that takes away the sin of the world” John 1:29. People will be condemned to hell not for their sins but for not believing in Jesus Christ and denying the gift of eternal live paid by the blood of God’s own Son on the Cross. As it is written in John 3:18 “Whoever believes in Him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe stands condemned already because they have not believed in the name of God’s one and only Son.” So today our Heavenly Father calls us to be reconciled to Him. 1Corinthians 5:18-21 Jesus is ONE and ONLY “ticket” to heaven. God the Father made Jesus something He wasn’t so He could make us somethings we were not and never could be without Him.
