IS JESUS CHRIST THE ONLY WAY TO HEAVEN?

When we speak of salvation, we are referring to going to heaven after we died here on earth. And we always asked ourselves, how do we get to heaven. What is the way in going to heaven? Is it joining and believing in different kinds of religion, like Buddhism, Hinduism, etc.? Or is there a shortcut in going to heaven? If there is, what is it? The bible states that the way to heaven is through Jesus Christ as stated in the following verses:

In JOHN 14:6, it states = Jesus answered, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.” = Jesus is teaching that the way to heaven is through him. No one comes to the Father except through Jesus. We have to understand that the Father is God the Father, and God the Father is in heaven. So, when you come to the Father, it means that you had reached heaven. First, let us prove that the Father is God the Father by means of the following verses:

In ISAIAH 63:16, it states = “But you are our Father, though Abraham does not know us or Israel acknowledge us; you O Lord, are our Father, our Redeemer from of old is your name.” = In this verse it is clear that God is the Father, so he is God the Father.

In 1 CORINTHIANS 8:6, it states = “yet for us there is but one God, the Father, from whom all things came and for whom we live; . . . .” = God is the Father, so he is God the Father.

In EPHESIANS 4:6, it states = “one God and Father of all, who is over all and through all and in all.” = still God is the Father, or God the Father.

The preceding 3 verses had proven that God is the Father or God the Father.

Now, let us try to prove that God the Father is in heaven, through the following verses:

In MATTHEW 6:9, it states = “This, then, is how you should pray: . . . Our Father in heaven, hallowed be your name, . . .” = Therefore, God the Father is in heaven.

In 2nd CHRONICLES 7:14, it states = “if my people who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then will I hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and will heal their land.” = God the Father will hear their prayers in heaven, therefore, God the Father is in heaven.

In JOHN 17:1, it states = “After Jesus said this, he looked toward heaven and prayed: ‘Father, the time has come. Glorify your Son, that your Son may glorify you.’ = Still proving that God the Father is in heaven.

The preceding 3 verses had proven that God the Father is in heaven.

Jesus is the way to the Father is you know Jesus and follows his doctrines.

What if you do not know Jesus or you do not know that a bible even existed? What if you have not heard about the words of God and you lived in a remote area where missionaries have not gone to? Those people and Gentiles in the Old Testament, they have not heard about Jesus. Some people in countries like China, Japan, Indonesia, etc., they have not heard about Jesus. Does it mean that they cannot go to heaven? I don’t think so. Jesus is the way if you know Jesus and is following his doctrines. But if you do not know Jesus, God the Father is the way. It did not say that Jesus is the ONLY WAY, it only said, THE WAY.

What about Adam, Noah, Abraham, the Gentiles, etc., they do not know about Jesus and never knew his doctrines. Are they going to heaven or not? The methods of communications during those times were still very primitive. There were no cellphones yet, no newspapers, no televisions, no radios, etc., perhaps except by word of mouth. With these conditions only a few people will hear about Jesus, but majority have not heard about Jesus and his teachings. Do you mean to say that all those people who have not heard about Jesus will not go to heaven?

What about those Mongoloids, those autistic people, those people in the mental hospitals, those people who do not have the capability to think and reason things out? These people did not hear about Jesus nor followed his doctrines. Are they going to heaven or not?

The answer is, they can still go to heaven because God the Father is the Savior of all mankind as proven in this verse.

In 1st TIMOTHY 4:10, it states = “(and for this we labor and strive), that we have put our hope in the living God, who is the Savior of all men, and especially of those who believe.” = God the Father is different from Jesus. God the Father is not Jesus. Jesus is not God the Father. Even if you don’t know Jesus, you can still be saved because God the Father will save you.

Even though you don’t know anything about God, or have not known that there is a God, or do not even know the laws of God, you can still be saved as proven in the next verse.

In ROMANS 2:13-15, it state = “For it is not those who hear the law who are righteous in God’s sight, but it is those who obey the law who will be declared righteous. (Indeed, when Gentiles, who do not have the law, do by nature things required by the law, they are a law for themselves, even though they do not have the law, since they show that the requirements of the law are written on their hearts, their consciences also bearing witness, and their thoughts now accusing, now even defending them).” = People who do not know the laws of Jesus, but they do things within the laws of Jesus, then they will be judged by God the Father based on what they had done. Even if you do not know the laws of Jesus but you do things within that law, then you will be judged on that law.

In 1st CORINTHIANS 5:13, it states = “God will judge those outside. . .” = Only God the Father has the right to judge people outside the true Church. What is meant by this? There was mentioned in the bible of the Church of God which God the Father had built, mentioned 9 times in the following verses: 2nd Corinthians 1:1, 1st Corinthians 1:2, 1st Corinthians 15:9, 1st Corinthians 10:32, 1st Corinthians 11:22, Galatians 1:13, Acts 20:28, 1st Timothy 3:5, 1st Timothy 3:15. And this Church of God is the body of Jesus Christ as proven in the following verses:

In COLLOSIANS 1:18, it states = “And he is the head of the body, the church; he is the beginning and the firstborn from among the dead, so that in everything he might have the supremacy.” = Christ body is the church. So, if you don’t know Jesus, you are outside his body or you are outside the church. And God the Father will be the one to judge those outside the church, or those people who do not know Jesus. If you don’t know Jesus, therefore, you are outside the church.

In COLLOSIANS 1:24, it states = “Now, I rejoice in what was suffered for you, and I fill up in my flesh what is still lacking in regard to Christ’s afflictions, for the sake of his body, which is the church.” = The church is the body of Christ. If you don’t know Jesus, you are outside the church, and God the Father will judge those outside the church, or those who do not know Jesus.

In EPHESIANS 5:23, it states = “For the husband is the head of the wife as Christ is the head of the church, his body, of which he is the Savior.” = Jesus is the way if you know Jesus, because you are in his body or church, but if you are not a part of his body since you are a Gentile, then it is God the Father who will judge you, for God the Father will judge those outside the church or Jesus’s body.

In JAMES 4:12, it states = “There is only one Lawgiver and Judge, the one who is able to save and destroy. But you — who are you to judge your neighbor? = Only God the Father can judge those outside the church, and you as a human, can you judge those Gentiles that they cannot enter heaven because they have not heard about Jesus? You are giving a harsh judgement, which is not biblical.

With all these verses, I had proven that in the event that you do not know Jesus nor heard about him, all is not lost. It is not your fault, that you have not heard about Jesus because of circumstances beyond your control, you can still be saved by means of God the Father.

In Ephesians 2:1-9, it states that God the Father had taken us away from the dominion of darkness because of his grace and mercy.

In Ephesians 2:10, it states that God the Father had transferred us to the kingdom of Jesus Christ which is the Church of God, whose followers are people who believed and follows the doctrines of Christ.

In Collosians 1:12-14, it states that God the Father had taken us away from the dominion of darkness and transferred us to the kingdom of his Son, where there is redemption and forgiveness of sin. = this kingdom of the Son is the Church of God, the members of which are the people who had accepted Christ and followed his doctrine. These are the people that will be raptured on the second coming of Christ (1 Thessalonians 4:15-17).

In 1 Corinthians 15:24-28, it states that cometh the end when Christ will surrender his kingdom or the Church to God the Father. = What Christ will surrender to God the Father during the rapture are those people who followed the doctrines of Christ and those that had worked for their salvation with fear and trembling. Christ will NOT surrender to God the Father those Gentiles and unbelievers in his name. That is what Jesus meant when he said that no one comes to the Father except through me.

So, what about those that are not members of the Church? God the Father will judge them whether they will go to heaven or not.

I hoped that people will understand this complicated issue.

Thank you.
