I’ve invested months defending this book, reading books and articles…
I’ve invested months defending this book, reading books and articles about this book, and watching debates which elaborately refute the slander and lies which follow it by men which hate it-
I’ve learned a lot. I’ve learned it’s rich in historical and archeological credibility; I’ve learned it’s the most preserved book in human history, and that the accuracy of the gospels is beyond dispute by those with rational, unbiased minds..I’ve learned that all the lies against it are easily refuted if learned, and easily understood if observed (watch Bart Ehrman vs James White debate)
I’ve learned how fundamentally flawed the evolution theory is, and that there’s literally no facts to support any of it.
I’ve learned the theory itself is a religion which requires more faith to believe than Christ’s resurrection, in fact with the forensic evidence of it (CR), atheism is in general. But with all this learning, I’ve neglected the very book which all this controversy revolves around- the word of God itself. The Bible is the bread of life. In this book God reveals himself to us through historical events which occurred, and the doctrine spoke by the son of God himself which changed the world, the only man which overcame death, Jesus Christ.
A few scriptures-
“The grass withers and the flowers fall,
but the word of our God endures forever.-Isaiah 40:8”“The Word became flesh and made his dwelling among us. We have seen his glory, the glory of the one and only Son, who came from the Father, full of grace and truth.-John 1:14”
If the Bible is the bread of life, and Christ is the mediator between God and man, knowledge of this book is crucial. You wouldn’t starve yourself would you? You’d die. As will all of us without the mediator-
Get in his word. God preserved it as a means of stretching his arm out to humanity-
Pick up your Bible and let him speak to you.
