Loran Livingston, speaking on the Forward-in-Faith Broadcast, talks about an angry nation and says that we are directing that anger in part through one of the presidential candidates. While he spews out venom and hate talk, millions rejoice vicariously. Livingston adds; “We don’t even know what we are angry about and we certainly don’t know the issues facing our nation, we just want someone to direct our anger through.” This message is available through the CoG website under Forward-In-Faith.

  1. For the majority (yes, he is correct).

  2. Loran is totally mistaken. He missed it this time. Many Americans are mad and upset with the Pentecostal church, including the CoG. That is what he should understand.

  3. If the ORIGINAL POST what is an actual depiction of what Loran said, Loran was talking about the nation not the church or the bride of Christ.
    People nationally are angry at
Themselves, family, neighbors, authority, local government, state and national governments.
    And yes, especially the church.

I don’t agree with everything Livingston says but, right now, on this, He nailed it.

  4. Romans 10:19
But I say, Did not Israel know? First Moses saith, I will provoke you to jealousy by them that are no people, and by a foolish nation I will anger you.

What of the foolish nation is our own, to drive us to Godly Zealous-ness.
    Joel 2:17
Let the priests, the ministers of the Lord, weep between the porch and the altar, and let them say, Spare thy people, O Lord, and give not thine heritage to reproach, that the heathen should rule over them: wherefore should they say among the people, Where is their God?

Anger yes, but I think most people are totally frustrated, realizing that they have been totally duped by both parties, that the American dream is just a thing of the past, bills are increasing but our wages are decreasing, life is not how we imagined it and most are concerned about the futures of their children and grandchildren seeing no hope for them. I think for the most part what we are seeing is really fear that is manifesting as anger and we don’t know what to do about it.

One of the points that Livingston made I thought over simplistic. He used one word as the source of the anger the ~ `devil`. But we have had 40 years to observe the great inequity in our nation. When a worker sweats it out all day in a hot factory and learns that the CEO gets 400 to 500 times as much as he does; when he realizes that a ball player makes more in a year than he will in a lifetime; when he sees ungodly movie stars live wickedly in complete luxury and with great adulation an inner anger builds up and grinds on our sense of fairness.

Is this a sneaky support of Forward in Faith against Donald Trump.
Is this in violation of 501c3?
