“of a stammering tongue, that thou canst not understand”. The citizens of Jerusalem did not recognize the voice of God speaking through the fierce Chaldean invaders. It appears that the COG would not recognize that God is speaking to them (unbelievers). The believing citizens had fled Jerusalem because they heard and fled. Jesus had warned them about when to flee.
