SOME SUGGESTIONS TO THE PRESENT CoG LEADERSHIP IN CLEVELAND, TN. If I were an Administrative Bishop (formerly known as State Overseer), I would forget all about this new modern church growth training sponsored by the Charismatics, and do basically two things: (1) I would gather together the elder ministers in my state and use them to encourage, train and help all of my younger pastors and ministers. I would create a bible institute and provide training for local ministers. (2) I would get myself some Holy Ghost anointed evangelists, underwrite them financially and have them conduct one or two week revival meetings in my local churches. After that, I would have my evangelists erect gospel tents in new cities that I wanted to start churches and have them to preach and win sinners to Christ. I would get people to praying and have State Conventions where the Spirit of the Lord would come down and those in attendance would be so happy they came. Who knows, you must might feel the presence of the Holy Ghost too.
