Write Your Congressman

I’ve had a tough time learning how to act like a congressman. Today I accidentally spent some of my own money.

If you’re not speaking directly to the person who can do something about your grievance then you’re probably wasting your time and everyone else’s.

Everyday our phones and social media feeds are overrun with notifications from people expressing their opinions about some grievance or gripe as if we can do something about it.

The world is not listening.

The people you’re upset at don’t know you and don’t care.

All these angry people shouting at the world…don’t be one of them.

If you can’t speak directly to someone about your concern then you’re probably not in a position to do anything about it. Better to write your congressman and focus on a problem that you can do something about.

The ONE THING for today: Bottom line, don’t talk about people, talk to people. And if you’re not willing to do that, then best to let it go. You’re just wasting your time and your friends time.
