A Reminder Of The Gospel

Only one person drank the cup of God’s wrath against the sin of all humanity. Only one person was worthy and qualified of doing so. Only one person ever loved the world that much. Only one person loved you that much. There was only one person that was and is perfect, in order to take your place and mine-that person was 100% man and 100% God.

Jesus drank the cup of wrath that you might have eternal life through His payment for sin. In His incarnation, He deliberately, knowingly, and with great love for the world paid the cost our sins called for.

The Gospel is the good news sent from the Father to an undeserving world. God sent His son into the world. Christ was fully human, and he was fully God, divine. He lived among us in perfection. He never sinned. He fulfilled all of the law and took the place of fallen humanity on the cross.

He took the wrath for all our sin and offers us forgiveness if we believe upon Him. He conquered the grave beating death forever. He then ascended and rules with complete power. He waits to return to give unto us who believe eternal life. Heaven and earth will come together, and we will live with Him forever.

I hope you know Him. Do you? If not you can. Right where you are because He is just a prayer of repentance away. He watches for your heart to turn toward Him.
