Any opinions or advice on how to get the church to see the importance of apologetics. Jesus, Peter, and the Apostle Paul consistently used OT Prophesies to show proof of Christ. Do they think that it not necessary today? The prophesied great falling away is happening right before our eyes in this generation, in a generation where apologetics could really be used in mighty ways!

How would individuals church members utilise apologetic outside of normal church service? -
Not in revivalist evangelical churches. For them it’s about the sales pitch.

Apologetics is not necessarily needed in a service but would be a great topic for a home group bible study. All believers should be able to defend the faith

Dennis lee, apologetics are a very important that is highly under taught in the church today. It’s important for a few reasons.
First, it helps establish a rock solid foundation to our kids at an early age.
Two, it gives our teens and young adults confidence as they go out into a highly secular and antichristian world
Three 1 Peter 3:15 “ But in your hearts revere Christ as Lord. Always be prepared to give an answer to everyone who asks you to give the reason for the hope that you have.”

And has the defended the word plenty of times with different denominations. -
I agree. I personally feel it is too disregarded by many churches and really think it plays a big role in all the apostasy we see in our churches – especially among the younger demographic.
