Living a Life of Purpose

“What am I living for and what am I dying for are the same question.”
― Margaret Atwood, The Year of the Flood

What you must not do is try to do is everything.

Instead, first do what absolutely must be done and after that – if there is time – start on the secondary things.

Here’s the challenge…

“Secondary things” can be very important…even urgent.

Matter of fact, in the big scheme of things, today’s secondary things may even be more important than today’s must-get-done things.

And even more challenging, today’s secondary things can be what you really want to do.

But, at least for today, they are secondary and must not take you away from what must be done today.

The ONE THING for today: You were created by God for a purpose and that purpose includes today. There is something(s) that you must do today. Don’t let anything or anyone hinder you from getting it done for it is in doing daily what must be done that we live a life of purpose.
