  1. Payton Green says:

Righteousness of ourselves rather than that of Christ. We are clothed in Christ as Christians. We are not proud of ourselves before God. Instead we boast in our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. (Galatians 3:27)

  2. Buddy Walworth says:

Where people from the old religion followed by the Pharisees and Sadducees, come behind Paul and the other evangelists and say that Jesus was good, but you need to follow the law of Moses.

  3. Nate Childs says:

The context: Judaisers were preaching a different gospel in that following Jewish customs and practices (like circumcising) was necessary to be saved. Paul shows the differences between law and Gospel. We need both, but only the Gospel saves.

  4. Antonius Priyohartono says:

Each protestants denominations/non denominational cults spread different conflictive version of gospels.
    Don’t they?

  5. Bongane Dywili says:

    Nothing else but trinity!!!

  6. Nicholas Juma Wanyama says:

Of being betwitched to seek righteosness by law and not by faith to obtain his grace.

IT IS LIFE OF GRACE NOW?

    Galatians 2:20-21
[20]I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me.
[21]I do not frustrate the grace of God: for if righteousness come by the law, then Christ is dead in vain.

AVOIDING GRACE TO COME UNDER LAW ARE BEWITCHED ?.

    Galatians 3:1-2,11-12,23-25
[1]O foolish Galatians, who hath bewitched you, that ye should not obey the truth, before whose eyes Jesus Christ hath been evidently set forth, crucified among you?
[2]This only would I learn of you, Received ye the Spirit by the works of the law, or by the hearing of faith?
[11]But that no man is justified by the law in the sight of God, it is evident: for, The just shall live by faith.
[12]And the law is not of faith: but, The man that doeth them shall live in them.
[23]But before faith came, we were kept under the law, shut up unto the faith which should afterwards be revealed.
[24]Wherefore the law was our schoolmaster to bring us unto Christ, that we might be justified by faith.
[25]But after that faith is come, we are no longer under a schoolmaster.

  7. Hunter Stonehouse says:

Works or a faith plus works gospel. Also, “losing your salvation” by works. They’ll say “oh it’s what Jesus did 100%” but then after that they’ll tell Jesus the move out of the way and let us take it from here.

  8. Tarlus Taylor says:

Judaizers but it pertains to any false gospel out there

  9. Mike Cresswell says:

Paul initially taught grace and faith to the Galatians. Another cane along and wrongly taught they all had to follow the 613 laws of moses – which was wrong. So Paul’s letter to the churches in Galatia was about following grace and not the law as the law did not save

  10. Kimberlee Leslie says:

Anything outside of what the Apostles gave us. Ephesians 2 is very clear that the Apostles and the prophets founded the Church. Go read the early Christians on what that Church is.

  11. Wynni Wagner says:

Faith plus works. Remember the jews were requiring the gentiles to be circumcised. Paul said he wished they would go ahead and cut the whole thing off! Its faith alone in Christ alone for the glory of God alone. Anything else is works and that nullifies God’s grace.

  12. Jer says:

ANYTHING THAT OUT OF THE CONTEXT OF THE BIBLE!

  13. Nonie Riconalla says:

    Law

  14. Jeswanth John says:

Any gospel that undermines the Grace of God.

  15. Ninghor Mahongnao says:

The immediate context is about Judaism, but it can be applied to Any Gospel that contradict the Gospel of Jesus Christ I. E. The Virgin Birth, The Cross , and The resurrection -The complete finished work of Jesus Christ.

  16. Jereme McAlpin says:

I don’t know that it was a reference to a particular gospel as much as it was a general warning.

  17. Anthony Gilbert says:

Any gospel that contridicts the Gospel of jrsus christ

  18. Joshua Gabilo says:

What specific verse on Galatians? Asking for a friend

  19. Grace Williams says:

Work based salvation, as if we can or should do something for Christ in order to get saved.

  20. Renante Salvador Guillardo says:

Gal.6 :11 See what large letters I use as I write to you with my own hand!

12 Those who want to impress people by means of the flesh are trying to compel you to be circumcised. The only reason they do this is to avoid being persecuted for the cross of Christ. 13 Not even those who are circumcised keep the law, yet they want you to be circumcised that they may boast about your circumcision in the flesh. 14

  21. Angelino Acosta says:

It’s second coming gospel. It pertains to the new song in the Book of Revelation, different from song of Moses, song of the Lamb.

  22. Anosh Gaikwad says:

Paul warns the Galatian church about those false teachers who had entered Galatia and who were preaching a different gospel i.e. salvation by works.

  23. Grant Reedy says:

    The opposite

  24. Michael Passalaqua says:

That Galatians quickly started adding to the gospel.

They created a Jesus plus something for salvation gospel.

    These gospels are around today.

  25. Michael Passalaqua says:

Spencer Williams My Church just had an awesome sermon on this subject in Galatians.

  26. Nikki Sheppick says:

God’s Holy Gospel = Good News = is Jesus the Christ being God’s Holy Way of Salvation, any other “way” is “man-made”, or the “way of Cain” and not worthy of one precious moment of what remains of one’s life. Jesus Said: “I Am …. the Way, the Truth and the Life.” …. “I Am the Resurrection and the Life. Do you believe this?” Either you will be found believing, …. or not …. therefore, “First, judge (discern) thy self.” and “Let NO MAN deceive you.” …. “Live …. on day …. at a time.” BE IN Jesus 24/7=4GIVEN=4EVER. <3 <3 <3

  27. Rob Williams says:

There were false teachers from the Jerusalem church who were teaching circumcision, or a works based faith. A mirror reading of the Jerusalem council in Acts indicates the Antiochan Church and the Jerusalem Church defeated this question and concluded that was heresy, but after that Paul was no longer part if the Antiochan Church… it appears he was excommunicated… church politics at it’s best. This is further supported by the idea that the verse in Galatians that says you are no longer Greek nor Jew in Greek implies much more about keeping unity. So throughout Galatians Paul is saying don’t do this… don’t listen to them, they’re teaching heresy, and then concludes if it is required to keep unity between the churches, do what you have to to keep unity. For Paul the truth of the Gospel was fundamentally revealed by the unity of the churches. It is an argument that the Catholic Church has used and causes me to think Paul wireof hate the church today

  28. Stephen Valenta says:

    Legalism

  29. Richard Collamore says:

    Gospel of Grace

  30. Jay Bonham says:

He’s warning of adding to faith alone in the Lord Jesus Christ for salvation. It’s not faith AND something else (i.e. circumcision, baptism, walking the aisles, etc.).

  31. Gates Isiah says:

Adding works to grace in any way. That includes saying you must be baptized to be saved. Grace through faith alone is the true gospel of Jesus Christ. Anything else is a false gospel

  32. Justin Werth says:

Faith + Works. Essentially saying the Heresy that Christ’s death on the cross wasn’t enough to save

  33. Constantino Banjo Navarro III says:

Generally, its adding or subtracting anything to the FINISH WORK OF JESUS CHRIST.

  34. Bob Jones says:

Any gospel that is not the gospel of Jesus Christ

  35. Harold Goldman says:

    The Jesus plus something gospel

  36. Daniel P Campbell says:

You must do A,B,C and…..to be Saved

  37. Christopher Scott Moran Jr. says:

He’s warning about judaizers. Read acts 15. These are parallel accounts of the same event.

Judaizers inspired that keeping the law and more specifically as always circumcision was necessary for salvation.

The churches in Galatia were falling into this Lie to which Paul writes about
1 the power of Jesus in his life
2 the authority and recognition of his divine revelation the first time he meets some apostles in Jerusalem 3 years after his conversion
3 the recognition of his ministry and the blessing of God of salvation without circumcision (testified by the great #s and acts of the converted)

Obviously there’s more in the letter but
    1. In teaching this to the Sr high at our church and this is has far as I’ve gotten
    2. Most of the letter from my recollection dives deeper into the power of grace and doesn’t need much back explaining

  38. Kelli Gronka says:

Anything other then Jesus Christ crucified

…a gospel that He died so we could be rich…false

    that we could be gods…false..

catholism where we burn before we go with God…false

    mormanism….false

    Jehove Witness…Jesus is Satan’s brother…false

    anything that doesn’t align with what Paul taught in 1 Corinthians 15:1-4 15 Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand;

2 By which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain.

    3 For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures;

4 And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures:

  39. Tom Salamone says:

The first century was Gnosticism. Today would be the Book of Mormon or any Jehovah’s Witness watchtower magazine

  40. Rene Angeles says:

    Law and Grace.

You first must submit to the Mosaic Law and then you can be a Christian.

  41. David Huckabay Jr says:

    Possibly the Gnostic Gospels.

  42. Samuel Inbaraja says:

Judaizing Gospel where the finished work of Christ was not sufficient and the false teachers demanded following the mosaic law. So they advocated circumcision as necessary means of proving one has accepted the mosaic law as essential for salvation.
