Beware of false prophets for there are many even in this group. Especially those who say they “physically”saw Jesus more than once and claim to have been PERSONALLY called by Him into ministry. And btw are prosperous because they push 10% tithing mandate and are Apostles of Christ. Of course your well won’t run dry milking the helpless and sick.

I won’t comment on tithing that’s a separate issue, but anyone who claims to have physically seen Christ and been called by him needs to be disavowed. Immediately. Regardless of theology. They’re either crazy or a deceitful, lying, false prophet.

Does the Bible exhort us to keep our eyes on prophets, false prophets, men. I think not. We are to keep our eyes on Jesus the beginner and the finisher of our faith. Also on things above not on things below. Christ is seated above and not below. This is so important for every believing Christian.

Well the tithe is 10th part that belongs to God to support ministry endeavors. The scripture says Eph. 6:11 that He Himself chose some to be Apostles, prophets, pastors, teachers. Even the Apostle Paul had a personal encounter with Jesus when he was called. To test if someone is a false prophets is to see if their teaching the scripture from a perspective of Exogesis not Eisogesis. What is God saying to us thru His Word. #mythoughts

Giving generously with a cheerful is what is taught in the new testament. tithing is taught under the Mosaic law, in fact there were 3 tithes so if those who insist on the tithe I hope your 30% is consistent.

Old testament tithe was a lot more than 10%, more like 23% as there was more than one specific Tithe.
God loves a chearful giver, so each give what is in their heart, but having a church give is not preying on poor, it is how you keep a church running to serve the community -
How can you say someone who says they saw Jesus and He called them into ministry is false?? Who do you say calls people into ministry then?
