Good day, CA!

I have this question in mind:

How do we consider a person who had an indirect euthanasia or mercy killing.

For example, your family already did everything to save someone’s life including prayers, money spent — that it came to a point that your family cannot do anymore due to lack of finances to support the patient’s life.

Is it considered as a murder/euthanasia/mercy killing since we all know that we are accountable for someone’s life?

I’ll be really blessed if someone will provide a rightful answer backed up with scriptures, illustrations, theories, and etc.

I have adult kids additicted to killing drugs and bad lifestyles. I cannot save them. I have tried to “save” them and couldn’t try any more. Will I burn? I will allow my mom to die because of her no resuscitation request. Will I burn? God is merciful and respects no person over another. He understands your heart.

This will happen. Money is evil and cannot save. Life is in the Hands of God. Maybe we all suffer but have hope and joy in everlasting life through Jesus. I have addicted children

Money is not evil. The LOVE of money is the root of all evil. Anything you put before God you have made into an idol and it becomes evil.

This is a tough one. God knows what was in our hearts and our motives behind everything we do. But I would most certainly beg for forgiveness and let the Lord do the rest.

I don’t know what’s fully going on here but from my understanding, suicide is murder because we our selves bear the image of God which means assisted suicide is also murder.

However, if there are no other means to keep someone on life support and you tried your best to keep them alive with the resources you did have. Then I would point back up to the beginning of this comment. Don’t let the event over come you, and don’t worry. Stay close to our Lord Jesus Christ ❤?

For my part, I have a do not recusitate order on file and a medical statement refusing extrraordinary efforts at keeping me alive. And have so advised others in the past. Those extra ordinary efforts seem more like torture as you watch them. It is at this point in time natural to die ane for the Chrumistian death is gain and not loss. That is the understanding you need to reach. Not guilt that you coild have done more.

There is a gulf of difference between Biblical “murder” and everything we can argue comparison to.
For example, even accidental manslaughter which is close to murder is hugely different from biblical murder.

We could venture into the rabbit hole of “jumping on a grenade” to save others or using yourself as a “human shield” is just as vastly different from suicide.
As a parent I wouldn’t hesitate. To be honest I wouldn’t hesitate for a complete stranger in some situations.

In a mercy killing of medical nature, there is no malice, jealousy, wrath or anger involved.
You won’t find biblical scripture on life support but you can not convince me that such a thing is biblical murder in any way.

Christian’s have abandoned home care, even though it’s more affordable now than ever. Thus they sacrifice loved ones to a ‘system’. That being said, not providing artificial life support, is not murder. God never calls on artificial, things to preserve life. If all has been done, that can be done, and the only option left is artificial support, it is okay to let that life stop, by itself. We are not to help it along, via injections, or anything like that.

There is a large difference between “pulling the plug’ and actively euthanizing (murdering) someone.
