Is salvation truly 100% God and 0% man? I have seen heard people quote and i really want to understand. Does man not have part like “accepting” the finished work of Christ? If making the decision of accepting Christ is still the work of God Whose fault is it if we are not saved, man or God? John 6:44 says-No man can come to me, except the Father which hath sent me draw him. Do we have any part in the salvation of our soul?

We don’t have any part in the creation of our soul, so in a way we don’t have any part in anything 🙂
But, since we’re here and have been given free will, we must use it. God knows what we will choose from before we come into being, so he sets up our lives accordingly such that any who can be saved, will be saved.
For some they need to pass through prison, illness, or some other “rock bottom” before accepting Christ. For others, it’s much easier.
God knows us, and gives us *every* opportunity to come to Him. Are some made who will never choose God? I think so.
But it’s still their choice. If God didn’t make even those ones, perhaps He would be accused of selecting only those who love Him.
Who knows how a soul is made and from whence it comes. This is hard for us to understand, but we have enough to trust God in this.

The gift of salvation is 100 % the giver if we had to paid or do any work it is no longer a gift.

Salvation is 100% the work of God. The only way that we can accept the gospel message is if God changes our will and enables us to accept the gospel message since the unregenerate man hates God and the things of God. Our will in our unregenerated state will disregard the things of God since the things of God are foolishness to the natural man. God has to change our will so that we can choose salvation. We cannot choose it in our natural unregenerate state.

Salvation only comes from God, it is his gift to us. It is up to us to accept it or reject it.

I’m not sure I would agree with man having no part to play. When Jesus said that no man can come to me unless the Father draws Him, I think we need to ask the question, “Who does God draw? Why are they drawn? As we look throughout the gospels and the rest of the scriptures we see that God gives grace to the humble. I believe that God calls all men to repent, and the call of God can be accepted or rejected. I think about the story of the prodigal son; it says “when he came to his senses…” he chose to return to his father’s house.
It’s not a relationship where God makes me get saved, but extends His love toward us for the purpose of saving us, that’s definitely all God but then we have a choice to respond.
That’s just my thoughts from what I read in His word.

Grace is 100% God…Faith is where man can be saved…
Saved by Grace thru Faith. These are two separate words and should be looked closely.
Faith comes from hearing the word of God. Is man forced to hear or not?
Many instances in the Bible that Apostles and prophets are calling people to hear. If they are forced to hear, then what is the use of reminding us on what we should do as Christians like:
Galatians 5:13
You, my brothers and sisters, were called to be free. But do not use your freedom to indulge the flesh; rather, serve one another humbly in love.

For the time will come when people will not put up with sound doctrine. Instead, to suit their own desires, they will gather around them a great number of teachers to say what their itching ears want to hear.

If someone gave you a gift, you accepted and received it with your hands, would you say I also worked for the gift because I received it with my hands? Faith is a receiving hand but salvation is 100% free. Those who understand this are at peace because they do not struggle any more for something already won for them. And this is why it is called “The Gospel” or “Good News.”

Faith is the gift of God. You don’t earn a gift. It’s like falling off a building. You do the falling but it’s not your doing, is it. -

The human will is a servant of the heart… it carries out the desires of the heart…it’s just that the desire of the unregenerate heart is not for God!

The “all God and none of man” is not in scripture.
Jesus told us over and over that we must have faith/believe and repent. We’re told that if we do these, then we’re saved.
And no, that’s not works-based. Jesus did the work on the cross by paying for our sin and rising from the grave to defeat death. He chose us. Now it’s up to us to choose him by accepting the gift of eternal life by putting our faith in Jesus and repenting.
“100% God and 0% man” is nowhere in scripture. “By grace through faith.” Jesus did the grace, now we must have faith. It’s not just “by grace.” “100% God and 0% man” is contrary to “by grace through faith.”
It’s not faith if it’s forced upon us without our consent. It’s not trusting Jesus if God forces it on us.

Ephesians 2:9 “Not of works, last any man [person] should boast.” Titus 3:5 “Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his [Christ’s] mercy he saved us…” Isaiah 64:6 “But we are as an unclean thing and all our righteousness are as filthy rags…” Ephesians 2:8 “For by grace are ye saved through faith; and not of yourselves: it is the gift of God. These verses clearly show that we can do nothing of ourselves expect that free gift of salvation by God’s grace through our faith. And how do we get that faith? Romans 10:17 says: “So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.”

God is not at fault for those that receive eternal punishment. God will judge each of us by our deeds if we do not repent and turn to Him. At the same time, in His mercy God saved those that hear His Word, see His creation, and bow to Him as God in repentance for their sin. He shows that mercy by reaching out to us as in our unregenerate state we would never reach out for Him. So because it is His act of reaching us through Christ that leads to salvation, no man can claim he was saved by anything he has done including choosing God.

The core issue is whether man is pre-destined to be saved / unsaved, or has given the facility of free will to accept the calling getting saved.

The Calvinist position is that man is free to choose God, but will not, because of his fallen nature. Therefore, God must regenerate the lost sinner, give him a new heart and a new nature, before he will freely choose God.

Jesus said our part was to believe on Him whom God has sent.(John 6:29). Another passage says not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to His mercy He saved us.(Titus 3:5)

There’s no contradiction between these two passages. For by Grace you are been saved through faith and not of yourselves not anyone should boast. Ephesians 2:8-9, the divine sovereign will and Purposes of God not our own but when it comes to Obedience through hearing by His Words it is our duty to work out own salvation with fear and trembling. Philippians 2:12-13, Ecclesiastes 12 :13

You have to surender self, Jesus said REPENT. Repent means “TURN AROUND”. You are going the wrong way, turn around. We obey ourselves in life, repentance means stop following self, and follow, and obey Christ, we do that by obeying his word. Know him talk to him think to him.

I like this quote from Dallas Willard that puts it all in a nutshell: “Grace is opposed to earning, but is not opposed to effort.” In other words, God initiates our salvation and keeps us saved (otherwise no one would be saved at the end), but the Holy Spirit indwelling us gives us both the inclination AND the ability to live for God!

The Gospel message is Power of God unto salvation. The message itself opens ears and affects all because all have with their own ears heard it preached. Cause and effect. Without the Gospel message their is nothing for the believer to believe or the unbeliever to not believe. All alike are in perpetual response to the message of Christ and Him crucified and raised again to justify those who will hear and believe. There is no special divine light switched on in believers and off in unbelievers. The Word of Christ is Spirit and Life. As Yeshua did say, “…you are clean by the words I speak to you…”. The words themselves that men hear through their ears do enter their hearts for consideration. The hearer decides what to do with it. One one will say “Glory” and follow… another will laugh and go his own way… yet another will take what he hears and twist it to his own destruction.
All men everywhere are in perpetual response to the presence of God. In Him we do all live, move and have our being. The earth is the Lord’s and everything in it. All men are His and He will repay every man according to his deeds in response to the one Gospel message handed down. Cause and effect…

Great question. It seems not, it is all Him, when I got this I was overwhelmed, and so much more great full to Him. You did well by quoting JOHN 6:44. Gets right to the point. You should Praise God. Praise Him by becoming Christ like and doing His work.

It’s not enough for God to provide salvation, it also needs to be applied by God. We cannot apply it to ourselves, being dead in our sins. Dead people don’t do anything.

God wills EVERYONE to be saved. But over half of all people are not saved. Why? Because they do NOT repent of their sins and accept Jesus as Lord and Savior of their sins. The Bible is very clear about the necessity of repentance. It is in Hebrews, Acts, Gospels and Old Testament. Jesus himself said, “Repent or perish”. Yes, PEOPLE ARE THEMSELVES either choosing to repent and accept Jesus or to reject God. People ARE responsible for accepting or rejecting their salvation. God paves the way to salvation It is only through Jesus’ death and resurrection that salvation is even possible. But humans are responsible for accepting or rejecting their own salvation.
