Matthew 22:37-38
[37]Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind.
[38]This is the first and great commandment.

It maybe difficult to accept that those who have been your teachers in the Lord may not have taught you truth

That something you have believed for some time and has ingrained into the very heart of you, that it may not be quite the truth.

But we are called to put the Lord first before anything and everything else whether it be family, job, your church anything.

If you see scripture that doesn’t align with your beliefs then change your beliefs If you know that your relationship with God isn’t as the scriptures describe then keep searching.

Proverbs 1:2-7
[2]To know wisdom and instruction; to perceive the words of understanding;
[3]To receive the instruction of wisdom, justice, and judgment, and equity;
[4]To give subtilty to the simple, to the young man knowledge and discretion.
[5]A wise man will hear, and will increase learning; and a man of understanding shall attain unto wise counsels:
[6]To understand a proverb, and the interpretation; the words of the wise, and their dark sayings.
[7]The fear of the LORD is the beginning of knowledge: but fools despise wisdom and instruction.
