Memories from the Past – I was a State Evangelist for the CoG and God was really blessing our revivals. One particular revival stands out in my mind. It seems the revivals went about 3 weeks. The altars were packed every night. Even the Campbellites (For you who don’t know, this was the Church of Christ) and the Jehovah Witnesses were there. Of course, not because they were interested in the things I was preaching. They were there to get their people out of the altars where they were praying. The church was full with several hundred in attendance. An older couple walked the aisle of the Church one night. Speaking with them after service, they told me that their granddaughter was a very quite and reserved girl. However, when they saw her shouting down the center aisle of the Church service, they knew that what I was preaching was real, which resulted them getting saved that night. You see, what was really happening was the fact the Holy Ghost was present in the meetings. Without Him, we can do nothing. Boy, what would you give to be in another revival service like that?
