‘Cross and salvation’ is a compressive work. I’m not sure about the author, but it is down loadable. Further, ‘The City of God’ by St Augustinus is standard. The book by; Bernard, D K, A History of Christian Doctrine. Vol 1-3, Hzelwood, MO. will provide some insight. Your topic, is it a viable question for research? It will suffice to a good OT study; see Birch, B C, Brueggemann, W, Frethheim, T E, & Peterson, D L. 2nd Ed. 2005. A Theological Introduction to the Old Testament. Abington Press: Nashville.
