The Cross and the Swastika

Most of the top Nazis repented and came to Christ before they were hanged. All because of an American Lutheran Pastor whom they visited while on trial at Nuremberg. A short but powerful book. I think I read the whole thing with my mouth wide open in shock. I couldn’t put it down. The last words of one of them as he stepped on the gallows- he looked at the Chaplain and said “I’ll see you again”. They loved him so much they wrote to his wife in America begging her to ask him to stay longer. The letter is in the book either signatures. Not all converted but those who did were truly remorseful.

The idea that people who orchestrated the mass death of a group of innocent people get to go to heaven is probably the most disturbingly immoral thing I’ve read all day…

Hitler may have been a non-believer, but Hitler’s regime was strictly Christian. He could not have done what he did without the support of Christians in Germany. Not only did Christians within the German regime support Hitler, but a large group of German citizens as well. Google the “Stormtroopers of Christ” for more on that.
