When old fashion holiness hating COG people talk about holiness this is their image! This was posted on Accelerate.com by someone who calls himself “old fashion country preacher”. It is mockery of those who preach holiness as the COG onced used to preach.
He mocks her as “sis Beulah gettin ready to preach a holiness revival” I am mocked because I have posted shameful pictures of AB’s wives – where is the disgust for this shameful representation?
This precious lady is not shameful but the poster of this picture is shameful.
The mockery of holiness people is gaining in the churches who still “call” themselves holiness

It’s a sad day when “genuine” religion is called “old fashion” and Bible Holiness is called “legalism” .
Ole time holiness “can be” legalism if the thought is that they, not Christ, are what makes us holy.
They are not our way and means of salvation (thinking that is what makes it legalistic).
Ole time holiness believers, true believers, I admire.
But most I have met who say they are don’t live it consistently.
Most I have met use it to beat others into submission and lord over them.
One pastor’s wife I knew said she had a conviction about wearing pants. I showed up invited at the house one day and she was in blue jeans. When we got ready for the group to go out and eat she had to go change into a Jean skirt.
Is that having a conviction?
Is that ole time holiness?
That is legalism.
