At the Friday night Tennessee CoG camp meeting Samuel Rodriguez preached against “breakthrough” ministries and elaborated a few minutes about it. I can not get a response from anyone who knows what he meant and in fact my request has been deleted several times.
What is this all about?
Could it be preachers on TV who ask for a donation of something like $777 as a seed for your breakthrough?
Breakthrough??
Samuel Rodriguez will be a featured speaker at the assembly. They will probably coach him as to what to say.
My opinion would be people who have had trouble really understanding salvation and why Jesus died on the cross for our sins. For someone who hasn’t been raised in the Church it is difficult to understand.
I just reread where it says he preached against breakthrough? Forget my opinion.
It means that he didn’t think of it first. It wasn’t his idea.
actually he attempted humor with ridiculing “cell phone selfies” and it didn’t go over and then he attempted to repeat it and still it didn’t go over. He thought it would get a laugh but it didn’t!
