Bones are another thing that challenge women endlessly. Bones can be big and even protruding in places. Yet in all these years I have never been in a CoG prayer meeting where we were asked to pray for someone’s bones. Can you imagine a prayer request like this; brothers and sisters please pray for my bone structure, my bones are too big and my skin doesn’t stretch properly over them?
Yesterday in a business office ( while thinking about bone structure ) I noticed three women who had never had any hope for “ hollywood beauty “ because of their bones. One had a very large bone structure that gave her a very wide face. Another was so small and skinny that she could have been mistaken for a rag doll. Another was at least six inches shorter, about five feet I guessed, than the norm for women. What’s a Church of God woman to do?

We can be sure that women notice these things and often feel that they have been cheated by nature. Who can blame them for adding jewelry, make up and /or unusual clothing? That might not make it right but does make it understandable . Short men will often wear lifts in their shoes and I have known preachers who wear toupees.

Why would a person spend their time fixating on their looks when thr time spent could be used in good works and time with God?

Women spend more time in the mirror getting ready, is that true for all?

My prayer partner never wore jewelry, makeup or dyed hair..she knew the bible front to back and prayed faithfully. She paid her tithes first and always put in to the offering plate…she loved God, family, friends and church…she was 100%COG. More women r needed like that instead of the. foreign ones that the men r marrying and bringing in to taint and change the ⛪…where is the true Bride today..i want to go there

U can’t lump all women together. Some need more help than others. If u neglect your body, skin, teeth, weight, u pay for it later. These pious people that equate that with being spiritual r not fooling anyone. I wonder if maybe they might be lazy. Wonder if they brush their teeth, whiten them, etc?? If a person prefers that lifestyle, it’s ok but don’t judge the other for being attractive. Could it be that green eyed monster??
