I’m not sure why Christians attempt to reconcile evolution with the Bible. Once you posit the existence of God, the discussion becomes moot.
If God said he made everything in 1974 the only question would be whether or not you believe him.

I’m really hesitant to equate what we have in the Bible with God’s exact words.
For example, the author’s of the Bible sometimes use hyperbolic language to drive a point across. It’s not as if the people of Israel ACTUALLY out number the stars or the sands on the shore.
As for Creation, it’s possible that God was using the early writers to make a point, not record actual history. It’s also possible, and closer to what I’m becoming convinced of, is that Adam and Eve were historical figures, but came from a group of pre-humans, the first of the species to understand things like morality and right from wrong.
No Christian should jestison the Genesis account, and most that support evolution do. They just argue that a literal reading of it is wrong. -

I would not believe him because I was born in 1955. On the other hand God says and it is written in 1st John 5:18, 1st John 3 verse 9 that whoever is born of God cannot sin oh, do you believe him oh, this is not a what-if or a hypothetical this is scripture, you can read it for yourself right there in 1st John 5:18, 1st John 3 verse 9 now this is the funny thing, he goes on to tell you why those born of God cannot sin, because he gives them a seed and that seed remains in them. So do you believe what is written? Or do you add your own words so it will make sense to you and you can believe it, and these are the words that are added, whoever is born of God does not practice does not continue to sin. So which is it? Do we believe God’s word, what is written?

Adam was created with the appearance of being a grown man.
Eve was created with the appearance of being a grown woman.
For all we know they ‘might’ have had belly buttons.
They were put into a world with grown trees, starlight, valleys, mountains, caves, etc.We are specifically told that so it cannot be considered a lie.
It’s like when Jesus turns water into wine in John 2. We are specifically told it had the taste of the OLDEST wine even though it was made instantly.
If God is put into the equation, it’s really just a matter of believing or not.

I am not sure. There seems to be a seperation between Genesis 1:1-2 and Genesis 1:3 but I can’t say for sure.
If there is a gap than the universe can be very old, if not it can not.
I am not sure which is correct. -

I think something that is quite profound is that scientists call the DNA coding sequence the ‘book of life’ it’s easy for people to look at the coding of a computer and assign a designer or programmer to that, yet with the human genome and DNA it is clearly a written code, but somehow then don’t think that, that too had a designer. Fascinating really

RT Junior Khouchung I don’t know how to break the news to you but evolution is dead. It’s been dead You just don’t know it and I can prove it six ways from Sunday. In fact I got top-notch, some of the best scientists in the world saying It’s dead It doesn’t work. There’s no possible way it works.
Oh yeah these scientists they’re not Christians they’re not even the theists they’re agnostics and atheists.
And biologist geneticist these are the ones saying it’s dead not creationist.
Don’t get me wrong I got plenty of creations to say it too.
All of them scientists that know what they’re talking about know more about it than you or me.
