Donald Bowdle was a COG in name but his heart was in Assembly of God theology. The Church of God allowed him to teach their children theology. Doesn’t that explain the theological mess the COG is in today?

I loved and respected Donald Bowdle. I personally inquired to him about his theology via e-mail and after many exchanges he admitted to me his preference of AOG theology concerning salvation. He said he was Keswick Reformed and that is certainly not Wesleyan theology.

How many COG hearts are convinced of AOG doctrines of salvation? Years ago it would have been taboo to admit such devotion.

  1. I was aog and see no real difference

  2. I was born and raised in the very first A/G church in Indiana so I found the COG doctrines a bit strange when I came to Lee. I now find them both odd after hanging out with Vineyard folk!

What’s the differences in CoG theology and AoG theology? Besides sanctification.
