(There is a special message at the end of this article for those who might happen to read this and do not have Jesus in their life and are looking for peace and a way to better understand the present-day insanity and confusion.)

For most of us who have received Jesus Christ as our personal Savior and who also spend time in the Word of God, learning, growing, and especially making the transition from milk to solid (Scriptural) food, there is a burden that we discuss among ourselves frequently as we witness to family, friends, and hopefully, even total strangers.

This is even more pronounced among those who study and familiarize themselves with the prophecies that are growing in an exponential way every day.

It is that clear. It is now every day.

In that clarity is the conviction that the time before God executes the judgments of the Book of Revelation, beginning in (chapter 4, verse 1), is very short and based on solid Biblical exegesis.

Jesus is likely “right at the door.”

The burden of which I speak is seeing the clear lack of realistic understanding of the current state of the world. This blindness is not just to events contained in the warnings in God’s Word, but even a general awareness of the impending disaster of human endeavors to control, subjugate, and even radically reduce the numbers of “useless eaters,” as the globalists refer to the human population of this dying world system.

Jesus enumerated the “signs of the times” when asked what conditions would indicate that the long-promised prophecies of the end of the age would be imminent:

“Nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. There will be famines and earthquakes in various places. All these are the beginning of birth pains” (Matthew 24:7-8).

“There will be signs in sun and moon and stars, and on the earth dismay among nations, in perplexity at the roaring of the sea and the waves, men fainting from fear and the expectation of the things which are coming upon the world; for the powers of the heavens will be shaken. But when these things begin to take place, straighten up and lift up your heads, because your redemption is drawing near” (Luke 21:26-28). Emphasis added by me.

There are many other warnings, but these are sufficient to convey everyday conditions present in the world today, as well as nearness of the hour.

The removal of the True Church from the world (Revelation 4:1) will, in a single moment of time, shock those who are left behind into asking the questions we would have loved to have heard from them when we were available to provide answers.

The worst of it will be that only the unbelieving, ungodly governments of the world will be in position to provide “answers” through tightly controlled mass media. They will reach billions of people who were, up until that moment, completely oblivious to the terminal conditions under which they had been living.

The need for situational awareness becomes stark when the “situation” becomes reality.

They, for the most part, never asked the questions when they could have heard the Truth in place of intentional deception.

There is an ominous warning in the Word of God that I believe will once again occur shortly after the removal of the True Church (Revelation 4:1).

“Behold, days are coming,’ declares the Lord GOD, ‘When I will send a famine on the land, Not a famine for bread or a thirst for water, But rather for hearing the words of the LORD. People will stagger from sea to sea. And from the north even to the east. They will go to and fro to seek the word of the LORD, But they will not find it” (Amos 8:11-12). Emphasis added by me.

As in the case of many Old Testament prophecies, their meaning will become clear in that their fulfillment can apply to more than one era and one circumstance. As it was during Amos’ time, God’s Nature is from everlasting to everlasting.

There will be many people who will come to the sudden and stark realization that the Christians they willfully ignored or, in many cases, despised and hated were honestly trying to warn them of the Truth of God’s Word.

The Bible tells us that there will be “multitudes” who will be saved during the Tribulation.

This can be understood from the verses of (Revelation 7:9-17).

These will be saved to eternal life and serve God but at a terrible personal cost which is indicated in (Revelation 20:4).

“Then I saw the souls of those who had been beheaded for their witness to Jesus and for the word of God, who had not worshiped the beast or his image, and had not received his mark on their foreheads or on their hands” (Revelation 20:4).*

Then, there are those who will be eternally lost and never come to the saving Grace of Jesus by His paying of their death penalty on the cross of Calvary.

When we hear people say things like: “Boy, things are getting really strange,” or “Hasn’t the weather been really weird lately?” or “The world is going crazy,” or, in the case of America, “What is happening to our country?” we will often respond to this opportunity to witness with something like, “The Bible has told us that these conditions would occur just before the return of Jesus.”

Most often, that is when the silence of the unasked question(s) is deafening.

We hope and pray that the Holy Spirit will convict them to seek answers that we are longing to provide, and sometimes that does happen, but most often, we see their eyes glaze over, or they suddenly see something off in the distance and then change the subject.

We are often viewed as fools, and so we are.

We are fools for Christ according to His own Word.

“But God has chosen the foolish things of the world to put to shame the wise, and God has chosen the weak things of the world to put to shame the things which are mighty” (1 Corinthians 1:27).

So be it.

I gladly accept the title of “fool for Christ.”

Now to the crux of this article.

We carry the burden of sadness that goes along with the sure and certain knowledge that God will execute His judgments on an unbelieving world, and when we witness to the Truth of Jesus Christ and the Word of God, and that Truth is rejected, we have been up close and personal with the willful ignoring of that reality.

We can’t give up, sisters and brothers. We must “set our faces resolutely” as our Lord did when He headed to Jerusalem and the cross (Luke 9:51).

We don’t know who will or who won’t respond at some point, but God does.

We don’t know if this individual that we just witnessed to and who unknowingly broke our heart will be led into a circumstance where the seed we planted will bloom to eternal life for that person, even if it does not happen until the Tribulation.*

We don’t know, but our God does know, and He will not lose one person who will cry out to Him for Salvation in the Name of Jesus Christ.

“And this is the will of him who sent me, that I shall lose none of all those he has given me, but raise them up at the last day” (John 6:39).

Our responsibility was wisely assigned to us by Jesus Himself:

“All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to Me. Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age” (Matthew 28:18-20).

But the results are not our responsibility. That is for the Holy Spirit to bring about.

It is a double-edged responsibility we have:

• A burden: When we experience the abundance of unasked questions we so long to answer and look into the eyes of those who are lost.
• A Blessing: That we have been tasked with the opportunity to work hand-in-hand and heart-in-heart with the One and Only Savior to help grow the Kingdom of God and expand our forever family.

I probably shouldn’t let this get out, but I once sold used cars for a living and learned to hear “no” in numerous different and, in many ways, humorous fashions. It is something you learn not to take personally.

They are not rejecting us; they reject our message, and they reject the Holy Spirit.

As hard as it is sometimes to fear failure or be rejected by those we are trying to help, we are not rejected by Jesus, and He will have already rewarded us just for making the effort.

In the military, we would say, “Let’s get with the program!”

As my mom used to say first thing in the morning, “Up and at ’em.”

So, onward Christian Soldiers!

The special message I promised you:

For anyone who may read this article and has not trusted in Jesus Christ and therefore has no hope or peace in your life.

You can have hope. You can have the peace that Jesus has promised to all who have made Him their Lord and Savior. The peace that passes understanding.

It requires that you come before God on His terms.

And, what are His terms according to His Word?

• Genuine repentance (turning to God instead of continuing to reject or ignore Him).
• Confession of sins (that you are a sinner and acknowledge that to God).
• That you understand that the wages of sin is death (Romans 6:23).
• To acknowledge to God that you are unable to pay that debt.
• Belief that Jesus Christ paid your death sentence for you on the cross.
• To believe that Jesus is the Way, the only Way, that God has established by which humans may be saved from the consequences of their sin and rebellion.

God has made it absolutely clear that there is no one who comes before Him, under His terms, that will be refused.

• No one: no race, no color, no country of origin, regardless of any previous belief system: no one.
• No matter what your past sins have been, God can and WILL forgive you because He says He will.
• Salvation is available to everyone without any exceptions.

If you put all your trust for salvation in Jesus, and Him only, you can follow that prayer up by simply saying, “Thank you, Father God, for hearing my prayer and saving me,” because we can trust Him to keep His Word. He always has. He always will.

“Truly, Truly, I say to you that he who hears My words and believes the One who sent Me has eternal life and will not be condemned. He has crossed from death to life” (John 5:24).

There are no answers and there is no hope in the world by governments, organizations, politics or politicians. There are only lies and deception. But you can have the Truth and the peace you seek.

The answers are in the Word of God—The Bible. If you ask God, with all your heart, He will hear you.

“And ye shall seek me, and find me, when ye shall search for me with all your heart” (Jeremiah 29:13).
