I watched the last General Assembly on live feed and one of the things that caught my attention was with one of the General Council meeting. Williams was busy at the podium preparing the day’s agenda, conferring with aids who would be assisting him on the platform and shuffling the paper work.

From the floor came a message in tongues and the General Overseer ceased what he was doing, mid-flight, and gave an interpretation. At that point the routine business session proceeded.

The operation of the Spiritual gifts was perfunctorily and did not hinder the flow of business.

The question I have for this morning; why is it that the pulpit gives the interpretation? Is this Biblical or a traditional practice?

If you were our church the first Sunday of this month you would have your answer, let me tell you. The Lord moved in a merciless way. There a message gave out in tongues and it did not come from the pulpit. For anyone to give out a message in tongues or to interpret it all they have to do is be chosen by the holy ghost to do so. It is a special gift from the holy ghost. That is the way True holy sprit works. That him talking to who ever is there.

How can there be a TRUE word in the SPIRIT and it not completely DISRUPT the works of man? When HE truly manifests HIMself in our midst, HE CHANGES EVERYTHING!

often business agendas are suspended and should be if the word is from the Lord. Disrupt the works of man!

If the one who gave the interpretation immediately moves to business as usual then you KNOW it was not a word from the LORD. It was an attempt by the chair to keep the business moving without divine interruption!

Pastors are doing this in our churches. It is not words from the Lord unless the pastor is the LORD.
